London hosts Fashion Week during mid February to showcase several designers to a global audience which include retailers, magazine editors and influential media. New York begins Fashion Month, then London and Milan follow with Paris being the finale city. The carnage that ensues for models, brands, photographers and everyone in between makes it incredibly chaotic but away from the hustle and bustle, comes designer showcases. A lot more calm and less sweaty!
My sister gave me tickets to Mulberry's Beyond Heritage Showcase so I obviously had to go and ogle over all the pretty clothes and bags! Here are a few gorgeous photos of the clothes from the day...
During the afternoon, there was an interview with
Noel Stewart who was the milliner (hat maker) for Mulberry's Spring/Summer collection. He spoke through his education and work experience, the work he has already done, including his collaboration with Marc Jacobs and the work he did with Mulberry for their current collection. A passionate and funny guy. I had such a lovely day looking around Spencer House and drooling over some gorgeous handbags and clothes by Mulberry. Thank you for having me!
